A walk up the Chevin

While we were getting ready to walk up to the Chevin again, I said, “We shouldn’t waste the lovely nature we have here in Otley. Let’s walk up the Chevin more often.”

My dream is we will go for a walk at least twice a week, to train our muscles, and to leave behind all the hassles that life offers us.

It took us about 40 minutes to arrive at the top. And there waiting for us was the Royalty pub and an ice cream kiosk.

The till at the pub, inconveniently, was down for some minutes when it was our turn to place the order.

But I was in a good mood. When the till was back to normal again, we ordered a beer and a cider. My cider was, as usual, a half pint.

The outdoor sitting area was full of people, and there were many dogs. I looked afar to enjoy the scenery. There were quite a number of sheep grazing not too far away too.

And then we started our walk back home after getting some ice cream in the kiosk.
